Classic formal look
When putting together a classic formal look, a stylish tie shouldn't be missing. Know which colour of tie suits your suit. Ideally, actually all colours work on a white shirt and a navy blue suit. To complete your look, brown leather monk straps (also known as buckle shoes) are the perfect smart shoes and a good alternative to the simpler (but certainly stylish) Oxfords. Give your look extra style with a stylish pocket square or a simple tie clip, but do make sure you don't wear too many accessories (a maximum of 3).
Casual-chic look
A look that is actually for the fashion-advanced among us. Not every man can pull off wearing a navy blue suit casually. But if you do manage it, it's a wonderfully stylish uniform for the young creative who wants to walk stylishly into the office without feeling boring and dull. Pay attention here to the size of your lapels on the jacket for a casual look.
In addition, wear a simple white T-shirt underneath here. Bear in mind that it's well worth investing in this, because a good basic is the key to the outfit here. Complete this look with sneakers! For the sneakers there's a simple rule: go for leather of the best quality. And erm… Don't forget the length of your trouser legs; the trouser legs should fall neatly above your shoes.
The extravagant look
For the extravagant man with an enormous amount of self-confidence: flaunt it — the Italians call this Sprezzatura. This art of effortless style is in reality very complicated; make sure your outfit looks effortless. Avoid using too many accessories in the process. A good start is, for example, to wear a striped shirt under your suit, and wear suede loafers or buckle shoes with it. Of course with a matching belt.
